and the 'band size'. Luckily, the cup sizes from A to D are the same for
UK , USA , European and French lingerie brands. The standard 'band
sizes' in inches are also the same for UK and USA ladies underwear
manufacturers. The French and European manufactures use metric
measurement and there is also a variation in standard sizes (see our
fitting chart to your right).
Brief, thong and G-string lingerie sizes are usually
determined by standard international dress sizes (see chart above). Each
country is different and it is important to have access to a good
international lingerie size conversion chart when shopping on the
internet.
To make matters more confusing there are no real hard
and fast international standards. Each international
lingerie
manufacturer's sizes will vary slightly. Good ladies underwear retailers
will include a separate international size chart for every manufacturer
